Research (Cognition and Learning)
Research in this area covers a wide range of topics. It must be remembered that as with the other ‘broad areas of need’ identified in the SEND COP (DfE 2015) co-occurrence factors mean that rarely do children and young people’s needs fit neatly into one ‘category’ alone. For this reason we encourage you to read across each of the research topic areas!
